Vintage Gilt Metal Chandelier with Amber Glass Drops – 4-Light, 1980s
A striking vintage chandelier, its gilt metal frame styled with sculptural acanthus leaves cascading from the crown, adorned with dozens of hand-cut amber glass drops that catch and scatter warm golden light. Four scrolled arms support classic faux-candle sleeves, while the piece is finished with a lush, layered fringe of amber teardrops at the base — in the tradition of the great French and Italian tole candlesticks so beloved for their rich, jewel-toned glass detailing.

A true statement piece bringing warmth and old-world glamor to a dining room, entry, or living space.

Condition: Vintage condition with age-appropriate patina to the gilding. Used gilt on the wooden part. A beautiful, richly detailed example of 1980s Italian chandelier design.

The original European wiring works perfectly on US current — lower voltage means less strain, not more. Note: as with most vintage European lighting, it does not carry UL certification.
