Large Vintage Italian Gilt & White Painted Metal Candlestick – 5-Light

A dramatic, generously scaled vintage chandelier, its gilt metal frame bursting outward in a sheaf of sculptural leaves, accented with white lacquered metal flowers and foliage. Five scrolled arms extend gracefully outward, each finished with a classic faux-candle sleeve. The bold, layered silhouette makes this a true statement piece for a large dining room, entryway, or grand living space.

Circa 1980s, Italy, in the exuberant floral tole tradition.

Dimensions:
Diameter: 70 cm (27.5 in)
Height: 60 cm (23.6 in)

Material: Gilt and white lacquered metal (tole)

Condition: Vintage condition with some oxidation and visible paint loss, consistent with age. In good working order.
Sockets: Fitted with 5 European E14 sockets.
Wiring note: This fixture is hardwired (no plug) and installed by an electrician, just like any chandelier or sconce. The original European wiring works perfectly on US current — lower voltage means less strain, not more. Note: as with most vintage European lighting, it does not carry UL certification.
