Antique French Art Deco Silvered Bronze & Crystal Basket Chandelier

A beautiful antique chandelier in the classic "crystal basket" form, its silvered bronze frame holding third of faceted crystal panels in a geometric mosaic pattern, all converging to a striking diamond-point crystal finial at the base. A faceted crystal baluster connects the fixture to an elegant fluted ceiling cap. A wonderfully luminous piece, dating from the 1930s, bringing refined French Art Deco sparkle to an entryway, stairwell, or dining room.

Dimensions:
Total height: 32 cm (12.6 in)
Diameter: 30 cm (11.8 in)

Material: Silvered bronze, cut crystal
Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. The original wiring is old but in working order.
Sockets: Fitted with 2 European E27 sockets. US buyers may wish to use E27-compatible bulbs sourced locally, or have sockets converted by an electrician if standard US E26 bulbs are preferred.
Wiring note: This fixture is hardwired (no plug) and installed by an electrician, just like any chandelier or sconce. The original European wiring works perfectly on US current — lower voltage means less strain, not more. Note: as with most vintage European lighting, it does not carry UL certification. Given the age of this wiring, some buyers choose to have it inspected or replaced by a licensed electrician for extra peace of mind.
