Pair of Vintage Gilt Metal Wheat Sheaf Wall Sconces – Attributed to Hans Kögl

A graceful pair of vintage wall sconces, each styled as a gilt metal sheaf of wheat, with slender twisted wheat ears and feathered leaves forming a naturalistic, sculptural silhouette above an oval back plate. Two scrolled candle arms extend from each sconce, finished with classic faux-candle sleeves resting on leaf-form bobeches. This design is closely associated with German designer Hans Kögl, known for his naturalistic gilt metal lighting in the Hollywood Regency taste; this pair is unsigned and attributed based on its design.
