Vintage Gilt Metal Chandelier with White Opaline Glass – 5-Light

A delicate vintage chandelier in a rarely found color: soft milky white opaline. Its gilt metal frame is draped with swags of opaline beads and hung with dozens of opaline teardrops. Five scrolled arms hold opaline bobèches beneath classic faux-candle sleeves, and a fountain of beaded arches crowns the stem. The soft, creamy glow suits a bedroom, powder room, entryway, or dining nook.

Dimensions:
Diameter: 36 cm (14.2 in)
Height (fixture only, no chain): 45 cm (17.7 in)
Total height (with chain): 65 cm (25.6 in)

Material: Gilt metal, opaline glass

Condition: Very good vintage condition, in good working order. Lovely natural patina to the gilding.
Wiring note: This fixture is hardwired (no plug) and installed by an electrician, just like any chandelier or sconce. The original European wiring works perfectly on US current — lower voltage means less strain, not more. Note: as with most vintage European lighting, it does not carry UL certification.
Sockets: Fitted with 5 European E14 sockets. US buyers may wish to use E14-compatible bulbs sourced locally, or have the sockets converted by an electrician if standard US E26/candelabra bulbs are preferred.
