Signed Noverdy France Art Deco Amber Pressed Glass Pendant Light – Original Bronze & Brass Fittings

A beautiful French Art Deco pendant light by Noverdy, signed "Noverdy France." The heavy pressed glass bowl is a warm amber, molded with a bold geometric pattern of chevrons and zigzag bands radiating from the center. It hangs from its original bronze and brass fittings: three finely cast leaf-pattern chains and a matching ceiling cap. When lit, the amber glass gives a warm, glowing light, very much in the spirit of 1930s French interiors.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, in good working order.
Wiring note: This fixture is hardwired (no plug) and installed by an electrician, just like any chandelier or pendant. The European wiring works perfectly on US current — lower voltage means less strain, not more. Note: as with most vintage European lighting, it does not carry UL certification.
Socket: Fitted with 1 European B22 bayonet socket (not the US-standard E26 screw base). US buyers will need either a B22-to-E26 adapter (inexpensive and widely available) or to have the socket converted by an electrician.
