Vintage Venetian Mask Wall Sconce in Patinated Gilt Metal with Acanthus Foliage

A sculptural two-light wall sconce in patinated gilt metal. A Venetian-style carnival mask with a small bow tie sits at the top of a fluted column with crossed straps. Large acanthus leaves and scrolls curve out on both sides to two candle cups. The gilding has a warm, aged patina with a crackled finish, which suits a rustic or eclectic interior. It is a single sconce, not a pair.

Dimensions: 49 cm (19.3 in) high x 39 cm (15.4 in) wide.
Material: Patinated gilt metal
Condition: Good vintage condition. Please note: there is some loss of gilding in places, as shown in the photos. This is part of his aged character. The sconce is in working order.

Sockets: 2 x B15 small bayonet (SBC) (bulbs not included). B15 is not a common size in the US, but bulbs are easy to order online.
Wiring: Older European wiring, no plug, hardwired. It works, but I recommend having the wiring checked or replaced by a licensed electrician before installation. Works on 120V with 120V B15 bulbs. Not UL-listed.
